Proverbs 1:24-33: "Because I called and you refused to listen, because I stretched out my hand and no one paid any attention, because you ignored all my counsel and would have none of my correction, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when disaster strikes, when disaster strikes you like a storm, when the whirlwind of destruction sweeps over you, when distress and anguish come upon you. Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently, but they will not find me".
