Intro Characters John B: The main character and narrator, who lives in a fish shack on the water. His father disappeared and his mom left when he was a child. JJ: John B's best friend and a surfer. Kiara: An animal lover who is technically a Kook, but feels more at home with the Pogues. Pope: A smart but weird character who has a promising future. About us: we are a girl and John Bs little sister. Our dad disappeared at sea a year ago and because we are pogues and live in a poor community it doesn't change much and we just live in a little house. Jj, pope, and Kiara are our friends and lots of times just sleep over at our house called the château. We have a small fishing boat called the pogue HMS that we love to go in with our friends. Our enemies are from the rich side of the island "figure 8" the main three is Topper, Rafe, and Kelce. They are all friends but jerks to us pogues because we are poor and we have gotten into fights with them lots of times. Our older brother John B is dating rafes little sister Sarah and she is a nice Kook. She hangs out with us and doesn't consider rafe family because he is psycho.
