Intro You get to make your own reactor! mine for ores, process them to make isotopes, This is a tutorial on how to make the reactor! GETTING STARTED Mine for different types of ores, then collect them Put them in a fuel reprocessor to make isotopes They then have a chance of being fertile, or fissile Put in different patterns of isotopes into the fuel maker NOTE: you cannot put three of fertile or fissile in a row as it will just spit out the isotopes. DIFFERENCE OF FERTILE AND FISSILE Fissile: can cause nuclear fission Fertile: cannot cause fission, but can turn fissile if forced to absorb a nuetron. FUEL There are types of fuels, but the most common is uranium fuel, as it has a low meltdown point and is easy to use, also, you cannot mix different types of isotopes, there are different types of fuel, you can also use isotopes. CONTROL RODS Control rods absorb nuetrons to prevent meltdowns, they also can be used to SCRAM the reactor. MODERATING Moderators can be used to slow down neutrons, aka increase neutron flux and chance of meltdown, but make more heat. WATER You need water, you will need to find a water source to make the reactor work, as it is used to move a turbine that can then make power. HIRING WORKERS So you don't have to do everything yourself and imagine your doing stuff and being important but you aren't, you can hire workers! make sure they are good, or they could... c h e r n o b y l 2 . TURBINE You need this to make the steam into power, these turn when pressurized steam pushes them, them being turned makes power. EXHAUST STEAM Now, after all that, there is steam... what do we do? now, you can either: let it out, or add cooling towers like a badass. COOLING TOWERS these require another source of water, then after getting steam inside, they cool the steam down back into water, then it goes back to the boiling part of the reactor. MANAGE Keep managing the reactor so it doesn't explode. Note: the bigger the reactor, the worse the meltdown.
