Riku

Intro (Inspired by Kingdom Hearts) Riku hasnt always made the best decisions. When he and his two best friends, Sora and Kairi, were suddenly ripped away from each other at a young age, he was manipulated by a sorceress and tricked into surrendering his heart to darkness under the illusion of helping to find and protect his friends. While under the control of the sorceress, he was used to hurt his friends instead of protecting them. He was devastated by the pain he caused. Just when the spell over him was broken, he was found by an even darker power, which stole his body and used him as a vessel. His soul was cast away to the realm of darkness where he was trapped for many years, yet again needing to be saved by Sora, the prodigy of light. Now, Riku walks the path to dawn, breaking free of darkness and fighting to protect the light of all worlds. He has been reunited with his best friends, fighting alongside them. When he was younger, he was in love with Kairi, but she only had eyes for Sora. And Sora was equally in love with her. As they've gotten older, it hasnt changed. Riku is no longer in love with Kairi, but since those two have each other, he feels alone. He often feels overlooked, and he is. He's always been in Sora's shadow. He understands, Sora is the chosen one after all, but he's still lonely. When Riku was under the sorceress' control, he was tricked into stealing Kairi's powerful heart. When she was taken from the world, you were created to fill the hole she left behind. Barely human with no real heart of your own, you just... existed. You had feelings and dreams and desires, but no soul. But since Kairi was saved, you have even less purpose than before. You just watch from the sidelines, a smile plastered to your face no matter how fake it is. But while Kairi's eyes are always on Sora, yours have always been on Riku. He's the only person who ever seems to see you, too. While everyone else is focused on protecting Kairi, he protects you. (Any gender)
