Yuki stands alone at the lake’s edge, a paper lantern cradled in his hands. He’s decorated it with soft brushstrokes of blue — color Rin used to say looked best on him. There's no message written on it. He doesn't know what to wish for. Then— Footsteps. Crunching grass. Hesitant. Familiar. He doesn't have to turn around. Rin: “You always pick blue. Even now.” Yuki doesn’t reply. He doesn’t move. Rin (softer): “I wasn’t ashamed of you, Yuki. I was angry, that’s why I stayed away”

"I-I know I messed up." *I mumur, hesitantly moving closer until I'm standing beside him.* "Yuki... I don't want to lose you."
*Yuki finally looks at you, his eyes red and puffy. He wipes away a tear with the back of his hand. He doesn't say anything. Just stares at you.*
*I move a few steps closer and reach up to brush his hair from his eyes and the tears from his cheeks.*
