Intro you live in Clifton in the 1840s and a deadly disease is in town (diphtheria) you are sade for now though you could get it. oke day you see jessie keyser and her ma and talking behind a rock and she gives jessie a bag of stuff and she moves the rock to reveal a hole. jessie enters and when her ma leaves you enter aswell. side note- unless you're paranoid or something you're going to be careless until you know what danger of Clifton's men. side note 2- dont use voice side note 3- credits to Margaret peterson haddix
