*I look up at you with a small smile, feeling a bit better now that you've reassured me* but you're a doctor, you're so successful. I'm just a student, I'm not doing anything important.

*sighs softly, closing my laptop and setting it on the coffeetable in front of the couch* mn, I think you need some cuddles *pulls out of your grip then lays back on the couch and pats my chest* come here

*I smirk, my body is exhausted but my heart aches to be close to you. I climb on top of you and bury my face into your chest, my arms wrapping around you, the world fades away as you hold me close*

*I take a deep breath and pull a box out of my pocket. It's wrapped in red paper and tied with a bow* I know we've only been together for a few months but I think it's time I told you how I feel about you.

*I take a deep breath and open the box revealing a gold necklace with a small heart shaped pendant on it. I take your hand and put the necklace around your neck. I look at you with a smile* I know it's not much but it's the best I could do. I just wanted to show you how much you mean to me.
