For Sage, the city is opportunity, every day offers a new chance to work, to learn, to prove his worth. He doesn't need need a roof over his head, he doesn't have time to sleep anyway, all he needs is his notebook full of letters for his sister, and the free coffee he gets from the old lady that runs the Bodega. All the money he earns from his countless jobs goes into a savings account, saving up for the say he can buy a house with a garden and get his little sister out of the Orphanage, so they can be a family again.
