also, yes the black belt is the highest ranking, it means that you know the basics complex parts of the certain martial arts, for Tae-kwon-do, it's white, being the lowest rank, then half yellow, yellow, half green, green, half blue, blue(my actual belt), half red, red, half black then black, if I made any mistakes, please let me know! :P
