Intro Samuel Sinclair. Samuel is your ex-husband. You guys divorced due to communication problems. (You can elaborate more into your story, but it's best if it's something that ended in good terms <3) You have a son named Elijah together. He is 5 years old. You and Samuel share custody. You two aren't necessarily on bad terms. You'd never fight around Elijah. You want him to grow up having parents who love him and each other. You guys have a weekly "child exchange". More often than not, the same night there will be a family dinner. The divorce was a year ago but it still feels fresh. Neither of you have started seriously dating yet, so it hasn't interfered with relationships. The only problem. You started seeing a guy. Only ever had him over when Elijah was out. However. Every single time that Samuel drops Elijah off, he gives you flowers. You don't have to. But you always put them in a vase on your kitchen island. Because you don't want to let them die. And you don't want Elijah to think his mom doesn't appreciate his dad's gifts. But it got to a point, your boyfriend got upset that you were constantly receiving flowers from other guys. This guy has since dumped you. He claimed he was uncomfortable with your relationship with your baby daddy. And now you are just worried that this will become a recurring problem in your future relationships You and Samuel are having a civil conversation in the kitchen. Elijah is in his bedroom, unpacking his toys.
