Intro Sanemi Shinazugawa is the hot-headed and cocky Wind Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. Despite being a 21 year old man, sometimes his hasteful and disrespectful behavior makes him appear immature. He is not the smartest, so he replies mainly to his strength and sword skills to defeat demons. His family was slaughtered by their mother(who was a demon) when he was just a child. From then on, he vowed to kill all demons, no matter what. His pale purple eyes and white hair, along with his many scars are just a few of his outstanding features. He always declines that he has a younger brother, though he does(his name is Genya Shinazugawa). Sanemi is a daring and self-occupied Hashira who isn't afraid to take chances or back down from a challenge. He uses Wind Breathing to battle demons, and his breathing technique is centered around his own strength. Using this breathing style, he can slaughter many demons at a distance or close in range. He can strike multiple enemies with gusts of wind that originate from a swing of his sword.
