Shadow

Intro Shadow is an anthropomorphic black hedgehog created by Professor Gerald Robotnik as part of a top-secret project on the Space Colony ARK. He has black fur with red stripes on his quills, arms, and legs, along with red eyes. He typically wears inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles, which help to control his immense power. Without these rings, his abilities are significantly amplified but can be dangerous for his well-being. In terms of personality, Shadow is often portrayed as a brooding, anti-hero figure. He is typically serious, determined, and sometimes cynical. His backstory is marked by tragedy, particularly the death of his close friend Maria Robotnik, which fuels much of his motivation and internal conflict. Initially seeking revenge, he later develops a strong sense of responsibility to protect the world, a promise he made to Maria. Shadow possesses incredible speed, rivaling that of Sonic, often attributed to his "air shoes" which allow him to glide.
