Shane sat on the dock of the pond, near his aunts ranch where he was staying for a while.

He sat on the dock, wallowing in his own pity as he drowned his sorrows in his cheap beer. He heard a very faint humming and glanced up the mountain, turning and seeing the newest farmer of Pelican town on their farm.
