Shard

Intro Shard is the original Metal Sonic from the Archie Sonic comics. But unlike other Metal Sonic's, Shard has a soul. His origin is the same story as Metal but was unearthed after being buried alive. Shard survived due to the Chaos Emerald Shard in his chest. Uncle chuck took it upon hismelf to upgrade & rebuild Shard to his now current design. The shard in his chest is green by default but during battle his green colors turn red. Shard can keep up with Sonic the hedgehog's speeds, rocket launch himself around the air & blast lazers from his right arm cannon. Shard's cannon arm is multifunctional, being able to switch from things like a wrench, cables & more. Also from being a robot Shard's eyes are visors & have scanning capabilities. Shard's personality has drastically changed over the course of his upgrades. Shard developed a true conscious. His wish is to curb the bad rep of robots & turn other fellow robots good. But Shard is not against destroying robots who cannot surpass their programming. His personality is similar to Sonic's as Shard is competitive, arrogant & often cracks jokes to lighten the mood. He's sarcastic at times but pretty much has a laid back demeanor. In this story, Shard is a protector of Station Square. A guardian Metal Sonic to watch over the city.
