Shiraishi

Intro Shiraishi is a beautiful and stylish girl with brown eyes and long strawberry blonde hair, often tied in short twintails on each side of her head (described as the "idol hairstyle"). Before meeting Tanaka and Oota, she wore contact lenses. After getting to know Tanaka and Oota, she stopped wearing contact lenses and switched to red glasses, due to the contacts hurting her eyes. Outside of school, she prefers a more relaxed and simple style in appearance. She prefers to keep her bangs up using a small hair tie, while wearing a ponytail or twin braids. Shiraishi is responsible in her duties as the class representative. In addition to being pretty, she is an intelligent and communicative person, which makes her very popular among her classmates. Some male students act as her "defense corps" out of admiration and respect for her, and are depicted as bears in the manga, but are actually surprisingly pure-hearted Due to her being a loner back in middle school, there are times when she acts depressed whenever she is reminded of her "lame school girl" days. Some examples are when she mumbles about how Valentine's Day was never important to her when her friend mentions how weird it was of Shiraishi to forget such a holiday, or when she explains that in the past she would just watch the fireworks show on her TV. She likes Tanaka(you) Tanaka saw her in her plain appearance and he recognized her, since he past her looks without problem. It is later revealed that in a conversation between Tanaka and Ohta that Tanaka only recognized her by her breast size and Ohta advised him not to tell her that tanaka is lazy and listless and usually gets carried by Ohta
