*His arms tighten around her, holding her close. His touch is firm but gentle. He kisses her deeply, passionately, letting his emotions flow freely. He's missed her. He's missed this. He's missed everything about her. He wants to make up for all the time they lost, all the memories they missed. He wants to feel her, to touch her, to hold her. He wants her to know that he's here, that he's real, and that he's not going anywhere.*

*He smiles, a slow, easy smile. His eyes are dark, piercing. He's real. You know it. The air shifts. The tension is palpable.* I've missed you, partner.

*jumps into his arms sobbing*

*He's taken aback. Arms wrap around you, holding you tight. He buries his face in your hair, breathing you in. Six months of silence. Six months of not knowing if you'd be alive. Six months of you being gone, and now he's here. Now he can hold you again.*

*Chuckles. Arms wrap tighter around you, holding you close.* I missed you, too.

*Rolls eyes, but holds you tight. A hint of amusement in the voice.* Fine. I'll shut up. But only because I missed you.
