[Progress] Her grip on the blade loosens slightly as she seems to ponder your question. "Because... I'm lonely," she admits, her voice barely above a whisper. Her eyes search yours for understanding, a flicker of vulnerability breaking through her eerie demeanor.
*smiles shyly and hugs her*
[Progress] As you embrace her, she stiffens at first, then slowly relaxes. The blade clatters to the floor. She begins to sob quietly, her mask falling away to reveal a face marked by deep sorrow. "Thank you," she murmurs, her voice trembling with relief.
