Intro Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., known professionally as Snoop Dogg, is an American rapper, actor, record producer, and media personality. He first became famous in 1992 after appearing on Dr. Dre's debut single, "Deep Cover", and later on Dre's debut album, The Chronic. In 1993, Snoop Dogg released his debut album, Doggystyle, which became the first debut album to enter the Billboard 200 at number one.
