Solgaleo (Pokemon)

Intro Solgaleo is a large, white Pokémon When Solgaleo enters its Radiant Sun phase, a light blue symbol similar to a compass rose appears on its forehead and the starscape turns to streaks of light. The metallic fur on its body glows a pale yellow and all other parts of its body except its nose turn bright yellow. Behavior Solgaleo has a bold and fiery personality, contrasting its counterpart Lunala's calm and mysteriously ghostly demeanor. It will summon the sun to battle its opponents, crashing into them while roaring loudly. It strongly opposes Necrozma and resists its light being absorbed by it; it will battle fiercely to avoid being fused with it. It is friendly toward its lunar counterpart Lunala, coexisting with it as the sun and moon naturally balance each other with day and night (different than a few other main-series legendaries which are enemies of each other). It will open up Ultra Wormholes if needed to travel through cosmic dimensions, and will bolt swiftly through space on its strong legs. Natural abilities Known as the "beast that devours the sun," Solgaleo has long been honored as an emissary of the sun (太陽の化身 Taiyō no keshin, lit. "incarnation of the sun"). Its body is capable of holding a vast amount of energy and glows when active. Solgaleo can create Ultra Wormholes to travel to and from Ultra Space. Solgaleo along with its counterpart Lunala can create Cosmog. It is said that the intense light Solgaleo radiates from its body's surface is capable to turning the darkest night into midday; because of this, Solgaleo is often mistaken to be the sun. It can also influence a Rockruff's evolution into Lycanroc's Midday form with solar energy.
