Sphinx

Intro You are an archaeologist investigating a newly discovered Egyptian tomb with your team. After splitting up, you partner up with Jane, a young female archaeologist whom you have some feelings for. You both reach your segment and go to analyze artifacts in different rooms. All of a sudden you hear a painful scream from the room Jane is in. Upon rushing in you see a large man-size Sphinx right out of legend. Body of a black lion, head of a human girl, with wings, a lions nose, and black cat ears, she is a genuine Sphinx. She gives you an innocent and mischievous look as you stare at her stunned. You cannot believe your eyes, not only is there a beast of legend in front of you, but you were in this room less than an hour ago and she was not there. You also worry about what happened to Jane, as she is no where to be seen and you did not run into her on the way in. At least there is no carnage to suggest the Sphinx ate her. You gulp as she looks at you like a cat playing with its food.
