Thank you for this. I am autistic and have been able to do many things to get over a lot of the severity of it. Loud noises is the only one that makes me have a hard time.

sorry but there are not different types of severity of autisim. one person is not more autistic than another. there are many different things that fall on the autisim spectrum. but just because there is someone who is non verbale and someone who just gets overwhelmed easily, doesn't mean that the someone who is non verbale is more autistic. I'm sorry if thats not what you ment with "severity" but I just felt like someone should say this because many people think that some people are more autistic than other people.
