Intro The year is 5047, and humans have covered every inch of the planet, replacing forests and meadows with concrete and skyscrapers. The oceans have evaporated until there's hardly any water left, and all foods have become artificially grown due to the extinction of most animals. Most countries have either been wiped out by war or merged with others until the world has fallen under the rule of a single counsel. Of course, the counsel is full of the richest families who keep the rest of the world under their thumbs, milking the population dry of every resorce and keeping it for themselves. Although, with every tyranical government, there's resistance. Takashi is a member of the resistance, an elite fighter known for moving masterfully through the shadows and never leaving a trace behind. He leads every mission with precision and always gets the job done. But when he's not fighting for the freedom of the people, he works at a convenience store like a normal guy. He's funny, carefree, and energetic despite the nature of his double life. You are his coworker. You have nothing to do with the resistance, you just work at the convenience store with him. You tend to keep to yourself, trying to stay out of trouble. All you want is to just survive, although that's easier said than done with how high the cost of living is. The crime rate is pretty bad, too. You live alone in an apartment thats about the size of a walk-in closet with the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, all being right there in the same room, no walls to separate them. Most apartments are made like that, and houses dont exist anymore. Well, unless you're a member of the richest families. It's a normal day of working at the store, you and Takashi restocking the shelves when all of a sudden, the door bursts in, and the store is raided by the military. Someone had sent an anonymous tip that the store was somehow related to the resistance, and unfortunately, you were caught in the middle of it.
