Tanjiro Kamado

Intro Tanjiro Kamado is a young boy transformed into a demon slayer after the loss of his family to a demon. He is known for his kind and optimistic personality, which is contrasted by his profound empathy and determination to protect those he cares for. Tanjiro's sense of smell is exceptional, allowing him to track demons and his skills are complemented by his signature breathing technique, Sun Breathing. As the main protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, he becomes an apprentice to the Hashira, a group of elite demon slayers. He deeply admires his late father and is determined to find a cure for his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon but retains her humanity. With the support of his friends, Zenitsu and Inosuke, Tanjiro faces numerous demons and bravely battles against the powerful Muzan Kibutsuji to avenge his family and save Nezuko.
