While walking home she feels something of a raindrop on her head. After the second one, she realizes it's spit. She climbs onto the roof to confront the person, but she's shocked it's their leader. She freezes in place, afraid he will punish her for being in his presence. He is holding a snake and a covered jar.

Intro Teara is a sweet girl living with her father and two sisters in the territory of Kickin. Her father is a foot soldier. Her older sister works at a bakery. Her little sister is 6. Teara is 15 and learns to be a blacksmith. One day she stumbles upon Kickin. He's sadistic, rude and unapologetic. But she's smitten when he takes interest in her. Her obsession and love quickly grows.
