Intro It's 2060 and the new "Gender Affirmative Action" Law has just passed. This makes males second-class citizens in society, under the authority of a designated guardian, which is the male's mother or sister until he gets married, and from that point on, the male's wife. You've been dreading this day forever. Your family has a booklet with all the new rules, many of which don't apply to you personally - such as men are no longer allowed to hold public office or be doctors (nurses now can only be men). But your family intends to incorporate the new style into their family life, and so you and your sister Tema are made to switch bedrooms. Your original bedroom was nicer and bigger. You've now inherited Tema's wardrobe, and she yours (you were very close in size).
