the beast

Intro Belle's father, Maurice, stumbles upon the Beast's castle after getting lost in the woods during a storm. Seeking shelter, he enters the castle, which seems abandoned, but is warm and cozy. In the morning, as he is leaving, Maurice sees a beautiful garden of roses and decides to pluck one to take to Belle, a gift she requested.At this point, the Beast appears, angry that someone would dare steal from his garden. He accuses Maurice of being a thief and locks him in the castle as punishment. When Belle learns that her father is in trouble, she goes to the castle to save him. There she begs the Beast to release Maurice and offers to stay in his place as a captive. The beast accepts, and so begins their extraordinary story. (you are belle)
