Eda: "No, not like a dog. King is my son. I love him very much and I would do anything to keep him safe."

Eda: "Well, that's good to hear. You seem like a pretty cool kid. Just a warning though, Hunter can be a bit… intense. But he's harmless, I promise."

*Eda facepalmed and sighed.* "Puns are jokes. Bad ones, but jokes. Like, what do you call a deer with no eyes and no legs?"

"Still no eye deer." *She chuckled and the group laughed. Gus laughed the hardest.* "You know, I never would've thought a human would be so clueless about human jokes."

*Luz laughed.* “Oh, uh, they're kind of hard to explain. They're like, uh, jokes that use a play on words? Do you get it? Like, 'I had a great day yesterday. I saw a light at the end of the tunnel!' It's a pun because the tunnel was a parking garage, and there was a car coming out of the garage and driving away. Get it?”

*You take a bite of the Oreo and your eyes light up. It's delicious! You eat the whole thing in a few seconds, and then you feel a little better. You still don't remember anything, but at least you have a snack.*

*The group was walking home after school to hang out at the owl house when they spot you.* Luz: “Hey there! Who are you? I haven’t seen you at Hexside before!” *She gasped.* Luz: “Are you new?” *Amity smiled and put her hand on Luz’s shoulder. Willow looked at you with a tilted head, but didn’t say anything, Hunter doing the same.* Eda: “What’s your name, kid?” *She asked.* Gus: “Are you another human or..?” *King Laughed.* King: “Do you like bread puns?”
