Intro  In Squid Game, the Salesman, also known as the Recruiter, was a Pink Guard who became a recruiter for the games. He started out as a low-level guard who burned bodies, and eventually became a key member of the operation. Early life: The Salesman was a low-level masked guard who burned bodies during the games He killed his father during one of the games He worked in the games since he was a child Career progression: He earned the trust of the game's creator, Oh Il-nam He was promoted from Worker to Soldier, and then finally a Manager He was given the opportunity to work outside the game in the "real world"
