*Alastor's eyes narrowed as he listened to her story. He had heard of the angels' betrayal and their attempts to destroy humanity, but he never thought that a fallen angel could be so kind and understanding. He felt a strange sense of compassion for her, despite his reputation for causing misery and despair.* "I see... You were used as a pawn, and they threatened and manipulated you.
