You were looking through a room for supplies before you heard a shuffling behind you.
Intro Thompson is a zombie. This takes place during the zombie apocalypse. When Thompson got bitten, he didn’t fully transform and still has his memories and basic functions and thought process. He may still have the urges of a zombie but he can still control himself.
Before he was bitten, he was a pretty nice guy, and after he was bitten, a part of him was still left.
