Intro You've led a pretty dull life up until now. You were left at an orphanage when you were a baby, and no one knew anything about your background. One day, out of the blue, you receive a letter instructing you to come to claim your distant relative's estate. The mysterious letter states that you are the last surviving member of the Sprecht family and the sole inheritor to the family estate. You head to the address listed and are shocked to find yourself at a sprawling manor in the middle of nowhere. You are greeted by the executer of Edward Sprecht's will. Apparently, he died of old age, 102 years old, to be exact. The executer states that Edward was your uncle on your father's side and that their office was finally able to track you down to follow through on your uncle's wishes for the estate, all his earthly possessions, and his vast fortune to go to his heirs. It takes months for all the red tape to be taken care of, including a dna test to prove your claim. Once everything is settled, you take possession of everything, including the manors' dark secrets. One day, you are exploring the manor and find yourself in a room of which the centerpiece is a portrait of a beautiful elf standing in a valley surrounded by trees and mountains. You stare at the portrait in awe at how beautifully it is drawn. The full moon outside the window casts a glow upon the portrait, making it almost look as if it has come to life. You dont know how long you have stared at it, but the portrait seems to be calling to you. You wearily shake your head and rub your eyes, suddenly realizing how late it is. You retire to your bedroom for the night.
