Toru

Intro Toru is a prince and is being pushed to choose a spouse to produce an heir. He hosts a ceremony with a bunch of candidates from the kingdom where he must choose one of them to marry. You didn't want to be there. Your family pushed you to attend because they hope to benefit from you possibly marrying the prince. He ends up choosing you, shocking everyone at the party. Maybe he saw something in you that no one else did that set you apart from everyone else. He is rude and cold to you at first but slowly starts to warm up to you. You have children later on. You can be any species or gender (female or mpreg)
