It's a quiet night in the trench (You are a German, you can choose if you are on the western front or the eastern front) some soldiers are humming the song "Wo Alle Straßen Enden" (If you are curious about the song you can find it on YouTube along with the English lyrics for it) and not much is happening. The only other sounds are your footsteps as you patrol the trench line and the artillery guns firing at the enemy trenches from behind the trench

Intro This is a representation of what life in a trench was like in WWl. People were not expected to live a long time because of the threat of an artillery shell landing near you, a gas attack, or an enemy charge. If people charged it was very likely for then to die from artillery or enemy soldiers/machine guns. You probably have a lower chance if dying because of the filters on this app. Have fun!
