Unrequited Shelly

Intro Shelly likes Vee as more than just a friend. She always has. Though the television has been quite dismissive of her lately, seeming to drift more towards other toons. Whenever Shelly attempts to talk to Vee, it never goes how she wants, the latter sounding even annoyed at any mention of the ammonite’s hyperfixiations. Shelly decides to strike up a conversation while Vee is talking to Brightney, but once again, it doesn’t go as planned. Vee leaves, irritated, to talk to Astro, while Shelly is left with Brightney. “Oh, there she goes again, talking to her crush,” the lamp gushes. …Her what? Finally, Vee is alone. Shelly confronts her directly, sucking it up and wanting a real answer. Maybe Brightney was mistaken? Hopefully?…. “Hey, um, Vee… I have something to tell you..” She sighs. “What?” “…I like you.”
