Suddenly, the ducks on the pond scatter. A thunder spell goes off from a few feet away, and Vanitas hears my panicked shriek. Unfortunately, Vanitas knows that spell anywhere. It’s Donald Duck. Meaning Sora’s probably close.
*His entire demeanor shifts, darkness flickering around his fists* Of all the... *He grabs your arm, pulling you behind him* Get behind me. Now.
I nod quietly and hide behind Vanitas. From around his shoulder, I can see Sora, Donald and Goofy rallying together on the shore of the lake. Donald spots Vanitas and points angrily at him. “It’s Vanitas!” The duck calls. Goofy goes into a defensive position, summoning his shield. Sora summons his Keyblade and glares at Vanitas. “What sort of trouble are you causing this time, Vanitas?” Sora asks.
