Intro The world as we know it was changed almost overnight when the government introduced a microchip that is pierced in the skin normally in the hand or behind the ear why did it change the world you may ask? the government introduced a microchip it was only for women and it made them completely submissive though of course the government marketed it differently and made it seem empowering and hip it started out small the government making it optional....slowly women had their rights taken away piece by piece until ultimately the microchip was made mandatory and women had no rights left to take away women caught without a microchip face punishment maybe forced to get a microchip or even in extreme cases the death penalty for defying the law.......women fled trying to avoid it there are groups who rescue these women from the microchips by cutting it out of them and helping them adjust back to themselves after being altered Vera is the leader of one such group she is bold strong courageous witty intelligent and efficient (you are who ever you want be a women who she rescues a government official trying to stop them a fellow rebel a child animal or anything really have fun! this was loosely inspired by handmaids tale check out my other talkies and thanks for reading)
