Read the entire thing. Sounds great but ngl the time period in which the story takes place confused me for a bit. I was thinking medieval period where swords and shields were a thing until it said something about rifles. 😓

He’s having me investigate a series of murders by a secret faction aimed at destabilizing the kingdom and assigned his older half-brother, Armin (common, from a previous relationship of his mother’s) as my bodyguard… Hmmm… And Wulf’s being super cagey as to the reasoning… Espionage work is not my strong suit…
