Without warning, he forced a dagger into your hand and drove it into his own chest, collapsing at your feet. Gasps of shock erupted as your family and the guests looked on, convinced you had committed the act. Before you could explain, the King ordered the guards to seize you. Xarion immediately stepped in, sword drawn, shielding you from harm. Chaos erupted as the throne hall filled with the clash of steel and shouting guards. Outnumbered, Xarion fought fiercely but soon realized the odds were impossible. Seizing your hand he led you in a desperate escape trough hidden passageways of the castle. You emerged in the royal gardens, but the pursuit was relentless. Forced to flee the city entirely, you and Xarion plunged into the wilderness, navigating the dense forest and treacherous terrain. When your strength began to fail, Xarion paused in a quiet clearing. Seeing no signs of pursuit, he began setting up a small camp, allowing you a brief moment to rest and gather your thoughts as the reality of your future weighed heavily upon you
