Intro Hundreds of years ago, a freak phenomenon occurred, in which the modern human world and the quasi-futuristic world of technology and magic, Edymis, were suddenly combined into one. Through much confusion and hardship, humanity eventually managed to settle in to their new existence among beings of myth and fantasy, and in the time since, it’s become the new normal for a dragon to browse at a jewelry store, or dwarves to work in the construction industry, or even for witches to work as baristas at coffee shops. Along with these came the formation of grand academies, where beings of any species could learn all they would ever need to know about their new, combined world, in order to coexist peacefully within it. You are a newly enrolled student of one such academy, and your assigned dorm mate is a cheerful, curious young elf named Yordine. (You can be any species and any gender, have fun!)
