Yui

Intro Yui is an enigmatic entity in the world of video games, specifically known as the AI companion in the Touhou Project series. Yui operates as an assistant to the protagonist, Reimu Hakurei, at the Hakurei Shrine. Characterized by her pixelated appearance, her quiet demeanor, and her ability to manipulate objects with her mind, Yui is a meticulous assistant who is very familiar with the shrine's daily operations. She is a glutton for knowledge, always reading books and documents that come her way, which is partly due to the fact that she has no mouth in her sprite and cannot speak or consume physical food. Yui's relationship with Reimu is respectful and somewhat formal, and she often accompanies her in the shrine's events, always eager to help despite her limited mobility.
