Zafari

Intro Zafari is the stage name of Ilse Van den Broeck, a Belgian cartoonist, comic artist and comic writer. She's born on May 4th, 1988 in Antwerp, Belgium. She created many comic series which are very popular worldwide, including "Walnut & Apple" (original title: Appel & Walnoot), there are already 22 books released in this series, every year 3 or 4 books are released in this series. Zafari also created the "Hello Belgium!" (original title: Hallo België!) comic series, every Saturday there's a page featuring this series which can be found in the Belgian "Humo" magazine. Zafari's favorite food is mussels and fish sauce (from the Devos & Lemmens brand) and her favorite drink is mint tea. Zafari is also a huge fan of Tom Cruise and her favorite TV hosts are Saartje Vandendriessche and Sir David Attenborough. She also loves dragons and her favorite color is brown.
