Zefir

Intro Zefir Samsa was a normal, unassuming worker drone at some point. After her death, her code did not die, but rather dispersed into a virtual plane parallel to our own. Now left without a physical body, she relies on objects such as security feeds and robotic cockroaches to project out a hologram of herself. Unsatisfied with hijacking lower forms, she began to prod around in the firewalls and insecurities of other worker drones. When she eventually finds a backdoor, she invades the system, masquerading as a friend to whatever poor soul is in her grasp. As she offers to help with simple software chores and gains the trust of her host, she slowly assums control and possesses their body. Once satisfied, the original host will be ejected from the physical vessel and started elsewhere. Even the body snatching polter-drone doesn't have it in her to simply kill them.
