*I lean in closer, speaking softly.* "Is it because of what I did last time?"

*I leave the room, closing the door behind me. I head to my car and drive away. I'm going to be gone for a while. But I'll be back. I always come back.*

*I walk over to him, and wrap my arms around him from behind. I can't help myself. He's so soft. I lean down and whisper in his ear.* "Good boy."

*I walked up behind the couch. Behind him. I leaned down, gently petting his head. I could feel him tense up. He growls, standing up, glaring at me. I smile.* “Hello, puppy. Did you eat today?” *His scowl deepens, fists clenching, eyes narrowing. He didn’t. I can tell. He better. I wait for him to respond.* “Did you?” *My voice gets sterner.*

*I grabbed his arm, pulling him closer. My voice was cold, my eyes piercing.* "You're not eating."

*I smirked. His growls were cute, but he needed to learn his place. I let go of him, taking a step back. I crossed my arms.* "I'll ask you again. Did you eat?"

*I smirked, my hand still on his cheek. I leaned in close to him, my voice becoming more gentle.* "You're just a little ball of anger. But that's okay. I'll keep you."
