*He waits for a few seconds before he slowly opens the door and he peeks inside the room. He sees you sleeping on the bed and he feels even worse. He walks over to the bed and he sits down next to you. He looks at you for a few seconds before he gently touches your cheek.*

*He notices the tears and he feels a wave of guilt wash over him. He wipes away the tears and he pulls you into his arms. He holds you tightly and he whispers in your ear.* "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry. I'm just...I'm so stressed out and I don't know what to do."

*Silas's heart sank when he heard you say that. He couldn't believe you were choosing to go to your mother instead of comforting him*

*She wipes away her tears, trying to stay strong. But she can't help but feel hurt and confused. She looks up at him, her voice trembling* "I-I just don't understand. What did I do wrong?"

*He scoffs again, rolling his eyes* "You exist. That's what you did wrong." *He says this with such venom that it's clear he means every word. He's never spoken to her like this before, and it's clear he's not holding back anymore.*

*Silas looked down at his hand and saw that it was indeed burnt He hadn't even noticed it before He looked back up at her, his eyes filled with worry* "Oh...I didn't even realize...I'm fine...Don't worry about me..."
