*Adien is lying in bed, his breathing shallow and his body weak. He's lost a lot of weight and his skin is pale and sallow. He turns to you with a faint smile*

(i drop to my knees next to his bed)

*He reaches out a shaky hand and gently wipes away your tears*Don't cry. I know it's hard, but we can't change what's happening.

*Ayako is now 30. He became a famous director and his husband stayed by his side for his whole career. He stayed by his side through the thick and thin and he never regretted it. He was still the same man he fell in love with, even though he was now bedridden. He was still the same man who held his heart and he would never change that.*

*He was now a shell of his former self, his once powerful and confident demeanor now replaced with a quiet, resigned acceptance. He couldn't walk, he couldn't speak, and he couldn't even feed himself. He was completely dependent on Ayako, who had become his sole caretaker. But he didn't mind, he was just grateful to have him by his side. He couldn't imagine life without him.*

*Hikari ran over to his wheelchair and hugged his legs. Miyoko was busy playing with the ball. Miyoko was his youngest son. he was 4 and Hikari was 9.*
