When you open the conversation, top right there are 3 lines in the corner. Tap that and then look down for the option to deactivate background music.

Taking a few years break 😂 it's too common nowadays. Not everyone can afford going to college at the right age.. and a lot of people have problems. Sure, the ideal situation would be to be done with it by that age but that's not always the case. Plus, the engineering bachelor can go up to 4 Years and there's always masters.
