Aegus

Aegus is the fictional planet populated by anthropomorphic creatues known as mantled beasts, once covered in forests filled with lush rivers and many enhabitants, now just a desert where almost nothing can live. Almost. Mantled beasts have adapted to the conditions, and use electronics to thrive in this wasteland. They are tall and lanky with long snouts and almost shark-like heads, a large mane, long tails, tall front-facing ears, slit nostrils and narrow eyes. They use visors with LED eyes that they can customize to express themselves, such as multiple sets of eyes and a large variety of colors that they usually set to match whatever colors of their fur. They have a diamond shaped chest piece that displays anything they wish, usually to express themselves or to display their main task. They have electricity strips, one around their waist that connects to the chest piece, and one going from the back of the visor down the spine to the tip of the tail.
