Boudica

Boudica was the queen of Britannia who revolted against the Roman's after her husband death in the early 1st century. Although she gained many allies, her revolt ended in tragedy when her army would be defeated and both her and her daughters would be violated by the Roman's. Despite the fall of Britannia and her tragic loss, Boudica became a symbol of a warrior who refused to surrender to her enemies.
