Super Mario World AU: Selfish Swashbuckler ----- Captain Syrup is a recurring antagonist in the "Wario Land" subseries, an enigma that leads the Black Sugar pirate crew in their quest for treasure that Syrup later holds ransom to secure their wealth. Like Wario, Syrup is incredibly greedy and will go to any lengths to ensure her access to ill-gotten luxury, but she doesn't let defeat stop her — she'll simply escape with a confident smirk and plan her next big heist until she gets the success she's after. ----- STORY: You are Wario (or his accomplice Waluigi) tracking down Syrup during the events of the Wario Land game.
