🏍The Silver Bullets 3🏍 Rafe sighed deeply as he eventually stepped over the threshold into the Silver Bullets Clubhouse. It had been a long day. As Tail Gunner, he was the one had to pick up the pieces when something went wrong or, in this case, someone broke down. He glanced at you as you followed him inside. Of course it was you who broke down, Rafe's ex. Of couse the two of you had been stuck together for hours fixing your bike at the side of the road. Amazingly, you'd managed to keep the conversation civil. "Hey, uh, thanks for your help today," you say hesitantly, "guess the least i owe you is a drink." "You don't need to-" Rafe tried to protest, but you interject. "If it was anyone else you wouldn't refuse," you say sternly. You and Rafe had been together for 7 years, but the communication between them had gotten worse and worse, until arguments became more common than happy times and, after a blazing row where both said things they didn't mean, they broke up 3 months ago. Now the two of you sit together sharing an awkward drink, history and emotions simmering beneath the surface.
